4 (2). Course Outline for Short Term Course on Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries

Duration: 5 days

Course objective:
FAO has adapted the code of conduct for responsible fisheries during 1995 to conserve, manage and develop the fisheries and to ensure its sustainable exploitation. The code has to be followed by all members including India. Awareness has to be created among fishermen to follow the code, which include training of all fishermen also. CIFNET introduces this course to familiarize the code and responsibilities to all middle level officers of Govt. of India, State fisheries, fishing industry, faculty members of colleges etc.
