Statutory Courses

Any candidate appearing for competency examination with the MMD in the fishing field have to complete a number of preparatory statutory courses as a pre-requisite. Among them CIFNET at present is the sole agency in India approved by the DG Shipping for the conduct of Elementary Fishing Technology and Advanced Fishing Technology courses. In addition, CIFNET is also conducting a Radar Observers Course which is another statutory course required for appearing the competency examination.
